Sunflower seeds
- The sunflower seed is the fruit of the sunflower (Helianthus annus). Sunflowers are annual plants with showy, daisy-like flower heads that are usually 24 inches across and bright yellow (though occasionally red). Tall and coarse, the plants have creeping or tuberous roots and large, bristly leaves.
- Sunflower seeds are more commonly eaten as a healthy snack than as part of a meal. Sunflower oil, which is used as edible oil, contains high linoleic acid and is typically extracted by applying great pressure to sunflower seeds.
- Product is organically produced and processed according to current Good Manufacturing Practices. HACCP norms and regulations NPOP, NOP & EEC 834/2007.
- Product is naturally fumigated through EcO2 processing technique.
